I'm trying at this. I really am. I have a whole world of wonderful things to be thankful for. And I am thankful for them, make no mistake. But life still rages on, as empty as ever. My Sadakos are in hiding, and all that I can dredge up is a little line art now and then that always feels inferior to my older work. Maybe I've reached my peak already?
I'm off to bed. Maybe I'll have a glass of iced tea before hitting the sheets; maybe I'll watch an episode of my DVR-box backlog. It's funny...the third season of a show I used to like a lot is out on DVD (just released), but they are showing the whole season on television right now! I've been trying to keep up, but with 10 hours of it a week, I fall behind so fast.
I have The Others and The Pianist to watch as well, with a few really bad films in the mix too. I end up liking really bad films...like Sugar Hill. WOW THAT FILM SUCKED, but wow, that film was just what I needed. Sugar and Baron Samedi were GREAT in their total badness and I always dig me some zombies.
Whew, just thinkin' about zombies gets me back on my feet!
